The recent release of the series in physical format marked the first time viewers could enjoy Ted Lasso without an Apple TV+ subscription. The Blu-ray edition of the box set isn't eligible for Amazon's buy two, get one free promotion, but the DVD collection is on the list. Unfortunately, the DVD box set actually costs a few bucks more at the moment due to the limited-time deal on the Blu-ray version. Ted Lasso follows the eponymous character after he's recruited to manage an English Premier League soccer team. His only previous coaching experience is as an American college football coach and, as you'd imagine, he's rather ill-equipped for the job. Along with Sudeikis' brilliant performance as Ted, Hannah Waddingham is wonderful as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, and Brett Goldstein is great at capturing the gruff and perpetually unamused soccer star Roy Kent.
