Xbox consoles prices rise up to 33% in Europe

Microsoft’s Xbox consoles got price increases as much as 33% this weekend as the company dealt with a rise in memory chip and SSD prices.

It remains to be seen whether this will send the console demand into a tailspin or if the pending launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in November (on the 19th) will actually boost demand for machines.

Here’s the current European pricing

• Xbox Series S (512GB): €499.99 (previously €349.99); comes with Xbox Series S console (512GB SSD), 1× Xbox Wireless Controller, HDMI cable and power cable. Starter bundle comes with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
• Xbox Series S (1TB): €599.99 (previously €399.99)
• Xbox Series X Digital Edition (1TB): €749.99 (previously €549.99)
• Xbox Series X (1TB Disc): €799.99 (previously €599.99)
