WWE 2K24 has a new gameplay trailer titled "Legacy," which shows off more of the scope of the upcoming game than any of its trailers so far. There's a lot of focus on the Showcase of the Immortals, a mode designed to celebrate 40 years of WrestleMania, and the stars who have been a part of it.
The trailer gives us a look at a handful of different match types, including the previously showcased Ambulance Match, the brand-new Casket Match, and an updated look at Backstage Brawls. We also get a sneak peek at the Special Guest Referee Match, and plenty of footage from various moments that will be playable through the Showcase of the Immortals.
As can be expected, the trailer features a heap of notable WWE Superstars, especially in the segment focused on Showcase of the Immortals. The segment shows a number of WrestleMania's biggest names, including Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Rhea Ripley, The Ultimate Warrior, Charlotte Flair, John Cena, Triple H, and The Undertaker. Notably, the trailer also reveals an updated cover for the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition of WWE 2K24 that omits Brock Lesnar. GameSpot has reached out to 2K to clarify whether or not Lesnar will still feature in the game.
